Fire Cider

- ½ cup ginger - chopped
- 1 tablespoon turmeric root - chopped
- ½ cup horseradish root - grated
- 1 onion - grated
- 10 garlic cloves - chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers - chopped
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon and orange
- 1 sprig rosemary
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Ingredients:
- Combine all ingredients in a quart jar and pour in 2 cups Liber vinegar.
- Let sit for 1 month in cool dark place. Shake daily.
- When ready to use, strain liquid into a bowl. Discard solids.
- Whisk in ¼ cup raw honey.
- Store in refrigerator for up to a year.
- Enjoy a shot of Fire Cider to ward off a cold or flu, relieve sinus congestion, or warm up on a cold winter day.
